Tom Ford Rose Tease Eyeshadow Quad Review & Swatches
Rose Tease
Tom Ford Beauty Rose Tease Eye Color Quad ($90.00 for 0.35 oz.) is a new, limited edition all-matte color story that included a beige, pale coral, pink, and mauve. The quality was quite disappointing; I know the brand can do better, but ignoring their history, the mattes were thin, powdery, and prone to sheering out, which made them shorter-wearing and likely to muddy during application. I haven’t been as impressed by the brand in the last few years, and this is no exception–this one makes me question how many more eye quads I’m willing to waste money on going forward!

Just one word – BLAND!
These latest offerings from TF have been a real turn off. I’m glad I have some older formula quads.
“Tease” seems apt for this palette!
I just don’t understand why the brand continues to release quads in this pressed powder formula when the reviews are never great and knowing consumers prefer the wet/dry shadows.
This! Or they can go back to when they made pressed powder formulas like Cocoa Mirage that blows almost all his other formulas out of the water. I still bring out my nearly decade old Cocoa Mirage for swatch comparisons and when compared to these modern iterations, I have to scratch my head. It’s still silky soft like butter, pigmented, doesn’t have fall out, and adheres to the swatch spot for over 10 hours, meanwhile, the new offerings are dusty, lack pigmentation and starts fading before you leave the house. I thought formulas got better and not worse.
This. I have been scouring the Internet for a TF Mink Mirage palette, if you know anyone who has one and is willing to part with it, I would love to buy it from them!
Very. Disappointing. How can the brand put out this kind of rubbish and in shades that are so easily come by?
First they stop doing the custom pressed individuals – begging the question whose formula they’re borrowing – and now the ratings are all over the board…. Tom Ford is rolling over in his grave at the garbage quality the company is churning out in his name.
Tom Ford isn’t dead.
I have returned every TF quad I have purchased over the years. I think the color stories are beautiful but the quality is horrible. I’m not even tempted anymore.
It seems like the quality has been lacking since being bought by Estee Lauder
